Sometimes. Blown-in, batts, or damaged material may need to come out so foam can bond and so we can see the leaks. Sometimes it stays. That is an on-site call and it affects the quote.

Insulation and ventilation have to be evaluated together. Foaming a roof deck, blocking soffits, or changing an unconditioned attic into conditioned space all change how moisture and heat move. We will not recommend a ventilation plan from a web form alone.
